We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been Silver Certified by EarthCheck; the world’s leading business advisory group for the travel and tourism industry, and our chosen partner since 2022.
EarthCheck helps tourism businesses and destinations become more sustainable through certification, consulting, and training and is widely respected by travellers, brands and destinations globally. Businesses who achieve the EarthCheck certification have been through a rigorous science-backed, people-focused sustainability certification process which gives them the tools they need to measure their impact.
At Royal Lancaster London, every team member is part of our Sustainability and Environmental Taskforce, and our commitment to sustainability stems from our hotel vision statement, ‘We Always Care’.
OUR ENVIRONMENT
We’re committed to minimising the impact that we have on the environment and we care about having a positive affect in our neighbourhood where possible. From the solar panels on our roof, to the energy efficient kitchens throughout the hotel, we are mindful of all that we can do to reduce our energy consumption, conserve natural resources, and reduce our waste. Our team even sort the recycling from all 411 of our guest rooms, so you don’t have to!

We sincerely care about our invaluable team and believe that happiness at the heart of our hotel puts happiness in the hearts of our guests. CHARITIES
We are committed to helping the local community and in particular charities within Westminster. We encourage and motivate our employees to get involved in charitable activities from fundraising events and challenges and through volunteering in our local community. We currently support four charities within Westminster through various fundraising activities and events: West London Mission; COSMIC (Children of St Mary’s Intensive Care); Woman’s Trust and Sleepsmart and our guests donate £1 per stay.
