Basil Street Apartments – Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings

All rates are per apartment per night, not per person. All rates are inclusive of VAT @ 20% and Service. For stays more than 28 days VAT is reduced from 20% to 4%. For making a booking you will be asked for your credit card details, this is necessary to make the booking. A deposit of 2 nights if stay is for 1 week, and a 1-week deposit for stays of 2 weeks and over will be charged to the client’s credit card immediately after confirmation of booking. To confirm the booking a signed contract from the client is required.

2. Payment

Full payment will be taken 1 month in advance prior to arrival day. Any additional charges will be charged to your credit card on departure. For all stays, unless prior credit arrangements have been made, pre authorisation of £25.00 per day will be made for any incidentals. Pre authorisations are automatically released upon departure, less deductions for any incidental charges or damages incurred.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation can be made without charges if we are informed 4 weeks prior to arrival date. Charges: if cancellation is after this time – full payment will be made on you card. A £20 administration charge will be charged for any amendment made once a booking has been confirmed.

4. Clauses

The Client shall be responsible to the company for any damages caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings, utensils and equipment therein or to the apartments generally by any act, default or neglect of the client or any sub-contractor, employee or guest of the client and shall pay the company on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.

The Client shall be responsible for their Apartment keys during the duration of their stay. Loss or damage to these keys will result in a £250.00 charge.

The Company is not liable for any loss or damage to the property of the client or any person as may occur within the constraints of the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956.
