Royal Lancaster London is proud to offer guests the option to book an accessible room with a mobile hoist available during their stay at no additional cost.
For many disabled people who require a hoist for transfers between their wheelchair, bed, toilet, and shower, finding suitable overnight accommodation can be one of the biggest barriers to travelling. By providing a hoist directly through the hotel and integrating it into the booking process, guests can enjoy a stay in central London without the stress, cost, and logistical challenge of sourcing specialist equipment themselves.
How it works
When booking your accessible room, simply select the hoist option during the booking process. Our team will then ensure that the hoist is prepared and ready for your arrival. There is no additional charge for the hoist.
Once your booking is received, our Guest Relations team will coordinate everything with you to help ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. If any additional information is required prior to arrival, a member of the team will contact you directly to discuss your requirements and answer any questions you may have.
Please note:
– The hoist provided is the Molift Smart 150 Gen mobile hoist. The hotel does not provide hoist slings. Guests must supply their own sling, ensuring that it is appropriate for their needs, compatible with the hoist, in good working condition, free from defects, and safe for use.
– Guests and/or their carers are solely responsible for the operation of the hoist. Hotel staff are not trained in the safe use of hoisting equipment and must not be relied upon to operate, assist with, or supervise its use.
– The maximum safe working load of the hoist is 150 kg. Under no circumstances should this weight limit be exceeded.
