Easter Afternoon Tea
Easter may be known in the UK as the chocoholic’s holiday, but after 40 days of avoiding all things sweet, why not satisfy the sugar cravings with an ‘egg-stra’ special afternoon tea! Available exclusively from Wednesday 28 March until Tuesday 3 April 2018, the Easter Afternoon Tea will be served in the relaxed surroundings of our brand new Hyde Lobby Bar, making it the perfect occasion for all the family.
Served in the Hyde Lobby Bar from 2pm until 5.30pm
Classic sandwiches such as the Home smoked maple-cured salmon pinwheels; and Chicken, piquillo pepper and rocket on turmeric bread, will be served alongside a variety of ‘egg-citing’ additions for the Easter tea. Our Chefs will be crafting Mini lamb scotch eggs and Prawn cocktail tartlets topped with a spoonful of Caviar.
We offer the perfect fusion of Afternoon Tea and Easter with the famous Hot Cross Scones, served with Homemade hedgerow fruit jam; Homemade strawberry jam; and Cornish clotted cream. Those with a preference for the traditional will not be disappointed as the Hot Cross Scones will be accompanied by Plain Scones as well as Raspberry Scones.
A parade of dainty delights fresh from the pastry kitchen include a Chocolate cremeaux flower pot; Mini Simnel cake; Peppermint macaron; and Crème egg lollipop, which will be a sure favourite for big and little chicks alike!
